HICS (HOSPITAL INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM ) In Person Training

The Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is an incident management system that any hospital can use to manage threats, planned events, or emergency incidents. As a system, HICS is extremely useful; it provides an organizational structure for incident management and guides the process for planning, building, and adapting that structure. Using HICS for every incident or planned event helps hone and maintain skills needed for large-scale incidents.

• An 8-hour HICS Course providing a working foundation of the HICS concepts.
• Designed to train leadership personnel on HICS Command Staff/General Staff primary positions.
• Concludes with a one-hour scenario to walk through the activation of roles and responsibilities.
