 ttack\, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a me
 ntal health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Ai
 d course\, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and 
 addiction concerns\, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and
  non-crisis situations\, and where to turn for help.\nTopics Covered\n\n 	
 Depression and mood disorders\n 	Anxiety disorders\n 	Trauma\n 	Psychosis\
 n 	Substance Use disorders\n\nMental Health First Aid teaches about recov
 ery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these c
 hallenges can and do get better\, and use their strengths to stay well.\n
  The Mental Health First Aid Action Plan\n\n 	Assess for risk of suicide 
 or harm\n 	Listen nonjudgmentally\n 	Give reassurance and Information\n 	E
 ncourage appropriate professional help\n 	Encourage self-help and other su
 pport strategies\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInterventions Learned\nWhen you take a cours
