Pediatric Preparedness for the Healthcare Professional

Pediatric Disaster Course Opportunity:

The Gulf 7 Pediatric Disaster Network (G7) and TEEX are providing a two-day, in-person Pediatric Disaster Course in St. Petersburg, Florida, on April 14-15, 2025.
This course, titled Pediatric Preparedness for the Healthcare Professional, is a new, standardized, national-level pediatric disaster training focused on emergency management, public health, clinical preparedness, and resiliency and recovery. Participants will learn how to recognize components necessary to developing a comprehensive community and facility plan to improve pediatric clinical and post-disaster resilience, specific clinical considerations for pediatric patients in during natural and human-made disasters, and best practices for pediatric patients across the disaster cycle- mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.

• 16 hours of CME, CNE and EMS CE credits available for this course!
• Audience: Healthcare workers (Physicians, Nurses, APPs, etc.), EMS/medical response personnel, medical volunteers, emergency managers, and public health professionals.
