 d to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adolescents
  ages 12-18.\n\nYou’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out
  and provide initial support to young people who are struggling. You’ll 
 also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.\n\nAFTER THE C
 OURSE\, YOU’LL BE ABLE TO:\n• Recognize common signs and symptoms of m
 ental health challenges\, including anxiety\, depression\, eating disorder
 s and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD).\n• Recognize common
  signs and symptoms of substance use challenges.\n• Understand how to in
 teract with a young person in crisis.\n• Know how to connect a young per
 son with help.\n• Better understand trauma\, substance use\, self-care a
