Overview:

Join healthcare partners from the Southwest Florida Healthcare Coalition for a functional exercise that will evaluate a coordinated response to a medical surge incident that overwhelms the region’s healthcare infrastructure. For more information on the MRSE, please click here.

Intended Audience:
Hospitals: Bed management, emergency manager or disaster preparedness coordinator, executive leadership, ED director/staff, incident management team.
Public Health: Preparedness coordinator, executive leadership.
Emergency Management: EOC staff (operations).
EMS: Leadership, field staff.
Other Stakeholders: Leadership and emergency management staff.

How to Prepare:
1. Read the ExPlan beforehand, available through the Web Portal one week 1. before the exercise.
2. Clear your calendar. This exercise will require your full attention and participation.
3. If you are a hospital, be ready to stand up your Incident Command Team.
